So in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 24 hrs then you know by now that our good ole United States government has apparently shutdown (read here).

Apparently the powers that be up on Capitol Hill won’t fathom the President’s ‘Obamacare’ costing a lot of people to be out of jobs with no paychecks. So in an effort to show support and awareness, singer/actress Jennifer Hudson is joining the Obama bandwagon by pushing the healthcare bill slated to go into effect today (October 1st) with the Funny or Die skit ‘Scandalous’.
The hilarious spoof is a play on hit tv show ‘Scandal‘ starring Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope. Jennifer’s character don’s a new identity who goes by the name of Lydia Cole.
While we wait and see how the government puts all this mess back together check out some comic relief after the jump.
